Jessica Ramsey, LMSW - joined the staff of Labette Center in July of 2005 as a Children's Case Manager and Juvenile Intake worker. She later became the Coordinator for Project Before in 2007, while continuing to provide children’s case management services. She has worked as a Crisis Therapist and Outpatient Therapist for the Center since 2014. In 2016 she became the Center's Behaviorist, located at Labette Health Family Practice Clinic as well as continuing work as a crisis therapist for the center. Ramsey, who was born and raised in Parsons, graduated from Parsons High school and then went on to attend Pittsburg State University. In 2002 she received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology, with emphasis in case management. In 2004 she received her Master of Science in Human Resource Development. In 2014 she went on to receive her Master of Social Work from the University of Kansas in 2014. In December of 2016, Ramsey completed training with Cherokee Health Systems in Knoxville, Tenn., in order to improve services and help clients achieve improved health outcomes. The instruction was an intensive two-day experience in Cherokee's Primary Care/Behavioral Health Integrated Care Training Academy. Through the use of the integrated care model, Ramsey is able to provide services in a clinic setting at Labette Health Family Practice Clinic. Ramsey enjoys spending time with her husband Mike and their four children, as well as attending family, community, and school events.
